Meredith and I went to the zoo with Amy, Ian and Max tonight. This was only our second trip to the zoo, with our last visit being when Meredith was just two months old. Meredith had a great time and was excited to check out all the animals. She was intimidated by the larger animals once we got up close to them, but had a great opportunity to work on her growing vocabulary. Meredith walked the entire path, which was well over a mile, even though the stroller was available. By the end of our trip she was visibly exhausted, but did not want to leave.
