Meredith is absolutely mesmerized by Christmas lights, both inside and outside. We spent the weekend putting lights up outside and decorating inside. Our final step was to set up the Christmas village in Meredith's room tonight. I made sure that we were able to place the lighthouse on her bedside table so that she could admire it while she was going to sleep. Needless to say, it took a while to actually get to sleep.
