I took Mer and Max for a road trip to Grandma and Grandpa Pearce's to celebrate Easter. Uncle Bubba and Denali were also visiting for the weekend. Here we are all dressed up for church on Easter Sunday. We had a great weekend and the kids enjoyed a lot of fun time playing outside and broke in Grandma's new bunk beds.
Meredith was very excited to wake up Easter morning to see if the Easter bunny left her anything special in her basket. She was not disappointed.
After a long day of playing outside on Easter Sunday, the kids enjoy the dinner picnic style.
Denali made her family's traditional Easter lamb cake. The kids enjoyed helping to decorate and eat the special cake.

Max spent a large portion of the weekend playing outside, moving dirt around with his trucks and helping grandpa with chores like a good farm boy.
Grandma saved the kids these two big boxes to play in. They enjoyed making them their "houses" and decorating the outside.
Max and Mer made sure that they checked on the cows frequently to make sure they were doing okay.
