Mer and I spent New Year's Eve with Miss Teresa and Mallory for a night out. First we went to a Japanese Steak House. This was Meredith's first experience with firey cooking at her table. I think she loved it and hated it all at once. Overall, she ended up having a lot off fun.
After dinner, we headed to the bowling alley. Meredith picked out her very own blue 6 pound ball. 
Thankfully the bowling alley has these cute dinosaur ramps for getting the ball headed down the lane and bumpers to help little ones actually hit some pins.

Towards the end of the night, Mer set the dinosaur aside and started throwing it down the alley on her own. Not too bad for a four-year-old.
After bowling, we headed home for a toast and bed. It was a great night to celebrate a new year that promises many positive changes in our family.
