We've been very busy getting ready for Christmas in our home for the past couple of weekends. On Friday, Teresa and I delved into the messy process of making two batches of sugar cookies. The kids were eager to get into the action and tried their hand at frosting cookies.
For some reason, Meredith decided that a shirt was not necessary for this activity.

Meredith made this adorable "santa's house" at school.
She was eager to taste test it as soon as we got home.
Teresa and I had set the kids up at their Dora table to watch a Christmas movie and do some crafting, while we sat at the dining room table doing our own crafting. Meredith thought this might be a good time to give herself a hair cut. She successfully hacked off a handful of hair on the side of her head, just above the ear. I have repeatedly told myself that it could have been MUCH worse. I took her to the salon a few days later to have the cut professionally touched up. She now has bangs and much shorter hair .
Max, Zoe and Grandpa Lyle were over on a Friday night to help us put the Christmas tree up. The kids were excellent helpers and put together a beautiful tree.
