Birthday Party Day

Meredith is Four

Meredith decided to have a mermaid theme birthday party with all of her family and few friends. She had a great time celebrating her special day and playing with all of her new toys.

Meredith always enjoys the birthday song and blowing out candles.

The kids enjoy the lunch at the kid's table.

Meredith received many thoughtful presents from her friends and family. She was quite the princess opening each gift and playing with all of her new things.

Meredith wasted no time putting on her new Barbie Princess dress and playing with her new music box.

It was a beautiful day and we were able to spend most of the day outside enjoying some of Meredith's new toys including a new bike and bubbles.

Our Princess is Three!!

Meredith spent her first day as a three year old engaged in big girl activities and celebration. First we headed to the "big girl school," where Meredith had her first speech therapy session with the school district's speech therapist at the local elementary school. Then we spent some time at the library before heading to Meredith's first swimming lesson. She LOVED the swimming lesson, in the heated pool with four other preschoolers. She is so brave in the water and learned all of the new skills very quickly. The teacher had a difficult time keeping her from swimming off and doing her own thing. Needless to say she had a great time and can't wait to go back next week.

After swimming, everyone was ready for a nap. In the afternoon we headed outside to play in the driveway. Meredith quickly put on her new bike helmet and went for a ride around the driveway.

We had all of Meredith's aunts and uncles over for dinner, cake and presents that evening. Meredith dressed in her new Sleeping Beauty princess dress for the occasion. She took her time reading each card and exploring each new gift before opening the next present. She loved all of her gifts and spending time with her family. She has been looking forward to her birthday for several months and I feel certain that she was not disappointed.

A Princess Birthday

We celebrated Meredith's birthday with Grandma and Grandpa Pearce one day early at Aunt Jayne's house in Manhattan. Grandma arranged for Meredith to have this very special princess birthday cake. Meredith thought it was the most beautiful cake and studied all of its details at length before we cut into it.

Meredith received plenty of princess gifts, including the Sleeping Beauty movie and the Sleeping Beauty princess dress.

Meredith is Two!!

Today is Meredith's Birthday!! We had a birthday party with Grandma & Grandpa Pearce, Uncle Ian & Aunt Amy, Uncle Brian, Aunt Meg and Brad, Brady and Max.

Meredith adored her Dora birthday cake and has carried her little Dora figurines around most of the day. She needed some help from Mom & Dad to blow her candle out and seemed a little embarrassed when we sang to her, but she enjoyed eating the cake.

Meredith had many presents to open and Brady was more than happy to help her open them. She received many fun gifts and got right to work playing.

This was a very special day for her. Before everyone went home, she went to each person to give them a hug and kiss to say thank you for helping her celebrate this special day.

Meredith's First Birthday

We celebrated Meredith's birthday at grandma's house in Wells. She seemed to enjoy the cake, but needed some encouragement from mom to really get messy with the frosting.
